About Box Sizes
When we were preparing this website we did a good bit of research about Langstroth bee box sizes. We found that even though there are generally accepted sizes for Deeps, and Medium Supers, some manufacturers have slightly different sizes. Not to mention home shop made boxes could vary greatly.
Rather than make graphic kits to fit "exactly" on a particular makers box, at the risk of not completely covering another makers box we decided to make our graphics larger than the largest of the common makers to give you enough material to cover any variant of box.
We also decided to use the same sizes for smaller 8 frame hive bodies as 10 frame hive bodies. Those of you who use 8 frame hive bodies will simply have to trim or overlay more material than otherwise stated in the instructions or on the video.
