About Box Sizes

When preparing these wrap kits, we conducted extensive research on Langstroth bee box sizes. While there are generally accepted dimensions for deep boxes and medium supers, we found that sizes can vary slightly between manufacturers. Additionally, boxes built in home shops may differ even more.

To ensure compatibility across these variations, we chose not to produce graphic kits sized to fit any single manufacturer exactly. Instead, our graphics are designed larger than the biggest commonly available boxes, giving you enough material to fully cover virtually any hive body.

We also standardized our kits to fit both 8-frame and 10-frame hive bodies. If you are using 8-frame equipment, you will simply need to trim or overlap more material than indicated in the instructions or demonstration videos.
